Course Description
This one day course builds on the skills learned in Tactical Pistol. The difficulty level of shooting problems will be raised forcing the student to demonstrate a good grasp of the basics.
Skills Covered (but not limited to)
Review of basic gun handling skills
One handed weapons manipulations
Multiple threat engagements
Target discrimination
Use of cover and concealment
Non-traditional shooting positions
Tactical and emergency/combat reloads
Weapon retention shooting positions
Required Equipment
Handgun and 3 magazines (rental handguns are available with prior notice)
500 rounds of pistol ammunition
Holster and magazine pouches
Eye and ear protection
Recommended Additional Equipment
Hat or head covering
Knee and elbow pads
Sunscreen
Rain gear (we shoot rain or shine)
Note taking materials (pen and paper)
Bag lunch/snack (we do not break from the range for lunch)
Personal water supply
